This year marks the 15th anniversary of Be an Angel Day—always August 22—devoted to doing "one small act of service for someone." This can take the form of volunteering in a soup kitchen or a homeless shelter, making a donation to charity, buying flowers for a stressed-out co-worker or picking up trash along a local stream, creek or park trail. Whatever your inclination, this Friday earn your wings, be an angel.
